Check IMEI Number for Free
A unique 15-digit IMEI number is assigned to every mobile phone, GSM modem, and device having a built-in modem. The GSM Association group defines the first 14 digits. A control character is used by the Luhn formula algorithm to produce the final digit. This is a unique number that is assigned to each mobile phone around the entire globe. You can look up information about the item, such as the brand or model, based on its number.
Below are the two simplest methods for checking your phone’s IMEI number for free.
IMEI check on android
- Dial *#06# on your phone
It will show the IMEI number for each SIM card on your phone along with the SN number. It works well for android mobile phones.
Here is the second method:
- Go to settings on your android phone
- Scroll down and choose “System” from the menu
- Then select “About Phone”
It will display the IMEI number along with other information about your phone, including the model, build number, emui version, etc.,
IMEI check on iPhone
- Dial *#06# to get the IMEI number
Or you can simply Go to Settings > General > About
Your device’s IMEI number will be displayed on the next screen.
